For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Gal. 5:6 Until we live by faith, we will die in doubt. Doubt is the opposite of faith. Anyman in Christ must be a faither because there is no faithless man outside Christ. Until we live by faith we will continue to die in doubt. Whatever you need in life can only be gotten through faith. “For the just shall live by his faith”. Hab. 2:4
Faith makes you a victor not the victim. If you will ever succeed in life, it depends on your faith or your lack of faith. While your success depends on your faith, your failure is a product of your unbelief. The stronger your faith, the stronger your foundation for success. Suffice it to say that “Success is a product of strong foundation”. When your foundation is strong, success is sure and the only means for a strong foundation is faith.
You don’t fail until you begin to nourish your unbelief. What you feed grows and what you starve dies. Do not blame anyone whenever you fail because your failure only displays your heart of unbelief. If you will succeed or fail, it’s up to you. You either choose to succeed or fail and your choice portrays your faith or doubt. Doubt is a killer of faith and faith is a killer of doubt. Every time you doubt the word of God, you starve your faith but every time you believe, you starve your doubt.
I want you to take note of this fact, “There is no faith outside God’s word. The word of God is the only source of faith and that’s why a wordless man is a faithless man. As a child of God you must know that two forces are always fighting within you and these two forces are, “Faith and Doubt”. Like I mentioned above, faith is a killer of doubt just like doubt is a killer of faith. So, it is either faith defeat doubt or doubt defeats faith. The one you choose will win, your choice will gain victory because the one you choose, you feed and the one you feed, grows. If you feed faith, it will triumph over doubt and if you feed doubt, it will triumph over faith.
Faith is acting on God’s word and not according to the pressures of life. In other words, it is your ability to act on God’s word despite the pressures of life. Faith is turning pressures into pleasures. Suffice it to say that faith is pleasuring in pressures. In the midst of pressures, faith sees pleasures. There is a typical example in the bible about the man Joseph in Gen. 40:6-7
Take a critical look at these verses, they were all in pressures together but Joseph was enjoying pleasure in pressures. They were down casted but he was uplifted. If you read down that passage, you will discover that Joseph offered them solution because God will always give a faither the solution. When your faith stops working, God stops working. The truth is that God cannot dwell in a faithless place because faith is the only force that brings God on the scene. To get God working, get and keep your faith working because when your faith is at work, God is at work. He cannot work in a faithless environment. For God to be on the scene, then let faith be on the scene. If faith can be there, then God has no choice than to show up. Faith magnet God to the scene and when God comes on the scene you begin to see. God’s appearance puts an end to your blindness whether spiritual, physical, financial, marital, etc. Luke 24:31a, it says “And their eyes were opened”. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. Gen. 21:19
Faith has no alternative. I’ve heard people say that faith has substitute or assistance. Someone once said that he does help faith. It’s a misconception to believe. It’s either you are faithing it or you are faking it. It’s either faith or doubt. The key of every locked door is hidden in faith. Suffice it to say that faith is the only key that unlocks the doors of heaven. Faith is your only connector to God, only your faith can bring you to God and when it does, God connects you to men. So faith is the connecting factor and that’s why the bible says that he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he’s a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Heb. 11:6
In other word, faith was not, faith will not be, but faith is. Faith is a must for you to come to God just like born again is a must for you to enter the kingdom of God.
